We have the pleasure of inviting you to the Crowdfunding Visegrad results presentation – a project that monitored the growing trend of community financing in the V4 countries and evaluated the possibilities of its further development.
The event will take place on Friday, November 14, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Wayra CEE (Wenceslas Square 3 – The Diamant, Prague 1).
Among the confirmed participants of the debate are Ondřej Zapletal, Executive Director of the Vodafone Foundation, Ondřej Kašpárek, Project Manager of Everfund, Ondřej Kobza, urban activist and author of the Pianos in the Street project, David Gaydečka, organizer of the United Islands of Prague festival, or Aleš Burger, Founder of Hithit.
Together with the guests, the project's authors will address the questions of how common crowdfunding is in Central Europe, what amount of money has already been collected, or for what kind of projects is it usually employed. Debaters will also focus on their personal experience as well as recommendations for participants interested in community funding.
The project has been supported by the International Visegrad Fund and implemented by the Aspen Institute Prague together with Res Publica Nowa, Creative Industry Forum, and Budapest Observatory.
Please confirm your participation by November 12 via registration form. The entry is free. The debate will be in Czech – if you need translation to English, please let us know.
